The Holistic or Complementary therapies are a group of health therapies that can be used alongside medical treatment or in the prevention of illness. For example, many people find that Yoga, Reiki, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and other therapies can help reduce and relieve stress and promote deep relaxation.

Because we live busy and stressful lives our bodies and minds can become imbalanced. The holistic therapies, especially those based on energy systems, use the body's own energy for healing and well-being. It is important, on a weekly, if not daily basis to re-balance the body to prevent illness and disease and for general health and well-being.

Training Available

Training is available in the following:

 

Yoga workshops for teachers, classroom assistants, parents, youth workers and carers;

Minding the Mind Workshops - workshops on thought awareness and management;

Social media and communication training for SMEs;

Reiki training is available and can be provided to individuals and/or groups in your own home, in the workplace or in community settings.

Yoga courses

A full range of yoga courses is now available in the following locations and at the following times. A six-week course is £36 and a Pay As You Go option for £7 per session is also available.

Enniskillen   Mondays at 730pm in the Hall in the Legion Club beside Ulster Bus depo

                      Wednesday at 6pm - same location.

Ederney       Tuesdays at 7-00pm in St. Joseph's Hall and Saturdays at 11am (Gentle and                            Family Yoga - Town Hall

Kesh             Fridays at 7-00pm in Kesh Community Centre (this class includes a longer                                meditation)

Bannagh      Thursdays at 7-30pm.

Irvinestown Wednesdays at 8pm - Bawnacre
