FLUSHING OUT THE SINUSES TO PREVENT AND REDUCE THE LENGTH OF COLDS AND FLUS
Hi, I'm Dr. Anne Monaghan, PhD and I have been teaching Yoga since 2018. To say that Yoga and the therapies has changed my life would be an understatement. Having suffered with anxiety from my late 20s these approaches have helped me understand and manage my condition. I also use self-care and wellness as a strategy to keep many conditions away - such as Arthritis, Depression, SAD and many more.
My personal experience helps me shape bespoke programmes for a range of clients - businesses and corporate, community and women's groups, the voluntary sector and I am a regular speaker at conferences and events and I advise clients on workplace wellness as a business strategy. Alongside this, I stay mindful of my own health and still run a busy programme of classes near Lough Erne in the beautiful County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland.
The Holistic or Complementary therapies are a group of health therapies that can be used alongside medical treatment or in the prevention of illness. For example, many people find that Reiki, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and other therapies can help reduce and relieve stress and promote deep relaxation. Incorporating knowledge of and access to self-care and wellness information, advice and programmes is now critical for organisations, and not just for staff wellness and productivity, but retention and corporate longevity.
Because we live busy and stressful lives our bodies and minds can become imbalanced. It is important that all organisations work on wellness to prevent illness and disease and for corporate health and well-being. Being Well Is Worth It!
